The view from our room was picture perfect. The hotel was clean and everybody was very helpfull. This hotel is the only hotel inside "Bosque Seco", there are a lot of interesting hiking paths to explore. The beach is extremely shallow, a little walk will take you to "Cana Gorda beach, which have some more depth. There are also other nice isolated beaches through the coast. We had dinner a the hotel one night. It is a nice place with live soft guitar music at night. If you eat outside be ready to be bitten by nats and mosquitoes. They have an indoors restaurant too. I found the prices on the expensive side. The only annoying thing was that there was not an economical option at the hotel for snacks or lite food. I had to drive every day to get reasonably price food. The drive is a 10 minutes through a narrow, curvy road. Kind of scary at night. They have WIFi, excercise machines, washing machines. Also offer various activities at their shop, like snorkeling, scuba diving, trips to a close by island, kayaking, etc.

The biggest plus was the staff and the service they provided even by PR standards. For example, we received a coupon to upgrade our room and one came available the second day of our stay. After we moved we noticed there was only a shower, no tub. That meant bathing our baby would be difficult. I mentioned the issue to the manager and said we would prefer not to move again. Within an hour she had a brand new baby tub delivered to our room! The food was great, the beer was cold, and the drinks were well made. Our daughter had a lot of fun playing in the shallow water at the private and a bit gravely beach. What we didn't like so much were the twisty narrow road leading to the property and wasting our time visiting Gilligan's Island. A few more activities there weren't any might have been nice though I didn't seem to miss them. It also would have been nice to have an indoor/air conditioned kid friendly restaurant but again, things worked out very well the way they were. Other pleasant features were the LCD TV, decent wireless internet, and having everything within the hotel a short walk away.

The Copamarina Beach Resort is a haven for those who like to find tranquility, beauty and first class service. The resort is immaculate with manicured lawns, pampered plants and well maintained buildings. The rooms are of ample size, clean and nicely furnished, with terraces or balconies overlooking gardens and/or ocean. Alexandra's, the gourmet restaurant which is open for dinner, offers creative dishes using local ingredients and international themes. A real find. Available activities include non-motorized water craft, tennis, two swimming pools and lounging comfortably on the beach. This inot a place for those looking for nightlife -- no casino, no disco and no noise. Perfect for folks like us who enjoy quiet elegance.

we absolutely loved our room and the entire property. the beach is not first class (lots of sea weeds on most of the beach), however, you can get around that, and the rest of the place makes up for it. Take advantage of the boat tours to Gilligan's island, good place to snorkel or just hang out. The Bistro has great breakfast (kind of spendy, but it's a buffet, so come hungry). Dinners sound fancier than they are (9 Dollar calamries should be more than 8 pieces) and overall a little overpriced, as are the drinks. Servers however are great and very nice. Try to sneak in your own drinks and snacks (you have to buy it in Guanica) and have a late breakfast to skip lunch if you're on a budget. other than that... you'll love it!!
