Our stay was so wonderful. The rooms were nice and the place was very clean and bright. I thought that the festivities might get on my nerves but they did not. The kids loved the movie night, the ocean but most of all the pool and the drinks plus the ice cream bar. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about anything we wanted to know. Our flight got in extra early and we were able to check in after about an hour. I was on the site checking out our next vacation next summer! This is definitely where we will stay.

Eric G from Fort Worth, Texas Visited on October 25-30, 2009 This was an excellent hotel that provided unbeleivable service. The beaches were excellent and the snorkeling was incredible. Everyone would go out of their way to help and serve you. The All Inclusive deal was perfect, the food was good but I would recommend supper at the restaurant inside the hotel. Reservations are required but the food is exceptional. We will definitely stay here again. As a side note XZY tours was very good and dependable for any excursions you would like to do on the island, I would recomend the ABC Tour it is well worth the price.

I love El Coz for its location and service. Everyone there is so nice and hospitable. We stayed there last weekend and it was my 3rd stay. The rooms are nice and clean. The "fancy" restaurant on site, La Veranda, is wonderful. The water is crystal clear and great for snorkeling. We rented a car (my second time to use the one right in the lobby) and had a good luck with that. We heard a horror story on the plane ride home about another car rental place charging too much. P and N will bring you drinks while you are laying by the pool. They work so hard, so please tip. The only criticism I have of this place is the walls are a little thin in the rooms and you can hear everything, and the food. We ate breakfast every morning at El Cocal and the omelettes are wonderful. Lunch and dinner, if you choose not to eat at La Veranda for dinner, is just ok. I wish it wasn't open air and the birds would be blocked from coming in. It is low season so there weren't any buffets or food at the grill. We ordered off of the menu, which didn't change the 3 days we were there. We had fajitas, chips, guacamole and mexican sauce for lunch everyday. The beef is good but the chicken was spongey. Overall though, I would go back tomorrow. It is so beautiful and clean. If you want to venture into town, this resort is only about 3 miles from downtown. The service you get from waiters to the housekeeper is wonderful. Please tip everyone, as they do not make alot of money and work so hard. I am looking forward to my next trip to El Cozumeleno!

We stayed here on Aug 15-19. The snorkling right off the shore from the hotel was wonderful. We spent including taxi, to go to chankanaab national park to snorkle.I think it was wasted since the snorkling outside the hotel was just as good or better. Make sure to ask the waiters for bread to feed the fish when you snorkle. The snorkle equipment at the hotel was free and you can use it for an hour at a time. I recommend bringing your own if you can. It was hit and miss. Some times the masks were good other times they leaked.The beach was deffinitely one of the best on cozumel the beach at the hotel next to ours was kinda murky most of the time. The whole hotel was very clean. This was a good time of the year to go. Not crowded at all. The food is what you would expect not great, but not bad either. The staff was excellent. Very friendly and quick to get you what you needed. The bed were a little hard, but not as hard as alot of hotels i have stayed in here in the US. By the time you go to bed it doesnt matter anyway. I slept like a rock every night. We are going back next year hopefully we will be certified to dive by then and we will be staying here again.

I would just like to let everybody know that if you are trying to look for a very clean safe hotel look no further. My daughter and I came here on our first trip out of the US and we felt very safe and welcomed by the staff! The grounds were always be cleaned and tended to. The rooms are spacious and I thought the beds were just fine along with the view from the 6th floor..WOW!! The food was pretty good. We ate at the fine dining restraunt three nights and were very impressed by the food and the staff very professional! Cozumel is not a party town like Cancun and if you want a relaxing place to stay that is quiet but fun then stay here. I enjoyed the beach and the snorkeling boat cruise that is booked through the scuba/snorkel shop on the beach. If you like to snorkel then book it through them not the lobby staff which are not employed by the hotel. We will definitely return here and stay every time we come to Cozumel!!
